The National Front in France nominated President Marin Le Pen

The Politburo of the French extreme right -wing national front nominated the party leader Marine Le Pen candidate for the election of the head of state in 2012, RIA Novosti reports.

"The Political Bureau of the National Front at a meeting on Monday May 16, 2011 unanimously supported the candidacy of its chairman Marin Le Pen in the election of the President of the Republic," the laconic message of the National Front, widespread on Monday.

The presidential election will be held on April 22 (first tour) and May 6 (second round) of 2012. According to recent surveys, Marin Le Pen has good chances to repeat the result of his father, founder of the National Front Jean-Mari Le Pen, and go to the second round of the presidential election.
