The movement of Igor is 21 years old, he studies in the 4th year of the faculty of the world economy of the GU-SHE. The participants in the movement claim that they do not have a leader, there is no membership - everyone takes part, everyone will find what to do; In addition, everyone who joined the communities of movement on social networks, Sakharovsky consider to be full -fledged participants - and this is more than a thousand people. According to Vinidiktov, the main goal of the movement is not only to remind people of who Saharov is, but also to create a platform for discussion. “If we can make sure that at least a hundred or two people look around, ask you, find out what is happening, who is Sakharov, then I will understand that we are fulfilling our task,” says Igor.

The movement appeared only on March 14. On this day, posters with a catchy inscription “I am not Sakharov, but I ...” were stuck in the subway wagons, then it was told in small print that a person was responsible for his position and should defend it, as Andrei Dmitrievich did.

On the pages of Facebook, VKontakte, the social network “My World”, on Twitter, the guys are trying to attract young people, publish notes and articles about Sakharov, shoot and post a video interview with famous figures, journalists and bloggers, where they are divided into the activities of the academician and today's Russia, many are asked to continue the same phrase - “I am not Sakharov, but also Sakharov, but also. I ... ”Igor Vinidicts says that the most interesting continuation, which so far sounded -“ ... but I can create chain reactions. ” “That's exactly what we want to do - to create chain reactions,” says Igor.

Anna Solodovnikova, 19 years old, student of the faculty of international journalism of MGIMO, one of the founders of movement: "My mother from childhood told me that people like Sakharov and Likhachev should be an example for our generation." Anya is working in the community on the social network “My World”: “This is an amazing feeling when people first come and just read, gradually begin to share their opinions, argue, offer something, send links to topics that are concerned about them.”

The most large -scale affairs of the Sakharovsky Movement is the collection of signatures for the assignment of the central square of Innograd Skolkovo named after Sakharov. For this purpose, the guys on satellite Internet cards determined where this area will be located, went to the clean field, fenced a small plot and drove a plate into the ground-“Sakharov Square”. In support of their project, the guys collected 2500 signatures in a month and on May 10 went to the headquarters of the Skolkovo Development Fund. Signatures were accepted by the director of the Department of International Development Alexei Sitnikov. The New Times contacted Sitnikov, and he confirmed that he received signatures and then transferred to Viktor Vekselberg, President of the Skolkovo Foundation. True, Sitnikov admitted that he did not know who could make a decision to assign the Academician Square: “Probably, when the city’s construction will begin, this will be discussed. Then, probably, a decision will be made. ”
