Every third Berlin student is ready to do prostitution

Every third student of Berlin universities is ready to consider the option of work in the sex industry as a way to pay for study. According to Reuters, the results of the study of the Berlin Center for Research evidenced.

The indicator for Berlin, where prostitution is officially permitted, was higher than in Paris (29.2%) and in Kyiv (18.5%) - two other European capitals participating in the survey.

Scientists have found that out of 3,200 Berlin students who took part in the study, about 4% already had experience in such work, which included prostitution, erotic dances and intimacy shows over the Internet.

“The main motivation of students to do prostitution was financial reasons, namely high hourly payment,” said 26 -year -old Eva Blumenshain, one of the authors of the study and a student of the University of Berlin, Humboldt.
