
The election program of United Russia and the All-Russian Popular Front, which is being prepared by the Institute of Social, Economic and Political Studies, will be a five-year plan for the development of the country. According to RIA Novosti, this was stated by the former head of Chuvashia Nikolai Fedorov. "I have already given the team to my employees, whom I am recruiting so that we are ready to present a kind of five-year transformation plan in Russian society, including our attitudes that the corresponding five-year plans are adopted in all constituent entities of the Russian Federation and even municipalities," Fedorov said at a press conference. “The five -year plan is the working name of the program,” he added.
Fedorov did not answer the question of whether the program that the Institute for the ONF and United Russia is now being developed, a program for presidential candidate in the upcoming elections in 2012. “I can’t say this. This is incorrect, from my point of view,” he said.
Fedorov also explained that the institute would not compete in the issue of the development of ideology with the Udino Russia campaign headquarters. According to him, the ONF election headquarters and United Russia are organizational structures, and the institute is engaged in the development of the program. Answering the question about the extent to which the proposals of unicorns will be taken into account when preparing the ONF program, the head of the institute noted that these proposals will be taken into account on a par with others.
United Russia will accept the pre -election program at the congress, which will be held in the fall. It will also be approved a list of candidates for elections to the State Duma. The head of the Supreme Council of United Russia, Boris Gryzlov, said that participants in the Popular Front will be able to apply for 150 seats in the party list.
The idea of creating the All -Russian Popular Front was expressed by Putin at the end of April. In early May, he stated that United Russia needs a tributary of new people and fresh ideas and opinions. President Dmitry Medvedev then stated that the creation of the All -Russian Popular Front "is explainable from the point of view of electoral technologies" and complies with the law.
