The "All -Russian Popular Front" named after Putin begins to accept not only social activists, but also individuals individually. It seems that you can’t do without an obligation. Citizens know little about the "front" and not that they are particularly approved.
Vladimir Putin came up with the initiative to accept individuals in the All -Russian Popular Front. This was announced by press secretary of Vladimir Putin Dmitry Peskov. Peskov explained that not only members of public organizations, but everyone will be able to apply for participation in the ONF from today. It will be possible to sign up on the “Front” on the Prime Minister’s website by writing a letter in the name of Putin or in his public receptions.
Peskov explained that this decision was made due to the fact that there were a lot of people who wanted to join the ONF and among citizens who did not participate in public organizations. According to Peskov, such an initiative will allow you to understand the number of people supporting the front.
The situation with the fact that such a “Popular Front” is quite clear: it is a pre-election project of “United Russia”, supervised by the head of the government apparatus and Deputy Prime Minister Vyacheslav Volodin. In this sense, the entry of “ordinary citizens” into the election association is a rather primitive and not quite effective populist move. In the mass of citizens who are eager to join the weakly understandable and not the most popular something, is hard to believe.
If we build on the fact that the United Russia is going to preserve 315 mandates in the lower house of parliament, then the number of front supporters should be at least two -thirds from active voters at the exit. This means that millions of Russians should join the ONF individually.
In itself, the multiplicity of one or another pre -election project is poorly affected by reality and the results obtained. It is another matter that the propagandists have not yet turned on in full force.

Movement "For Putin!" In 2007, it stated that it collected 30 million signatures in favor of the current president. This was an obvious absurdity, but on ordinary voters at the time of the pre -election “anti -shaped” hysteria and the tension of the forces of regional chiefs to achieve the best result, the EP seemed to be fully achieved. By hook or by crook - the latter, we believe, were no less than the first - EP received the treasured constitutional majority in the State Duma.
The same bar is put in front of United Russia and now. Against the backdrop of the fall of the ratings of the “national leader”, overcoming the bar with one administrative resource seems to be non -self -evident.
However, the strategy seems to be at least controversial. The repetition of the past campaign is almost completely based on the thesis that no one remembers not only the past elections, but even yesterday's news. How true it is is difficult to evaluate, and competitors will try to explain that the Popular Front is a fiction.
So far, the Russians did not quite notice the "Popular Front". According to the Levada Center of May 19, the number of supporters and opponents of the creation of the Popular Front is approximately equal-40 percent are more “for”, 33-more “against”. The data of the Public Opinion Foundation are similar to May 29 - they approve of 17, they also do not approve of 17. FOM, however, records a serious decrease in the interest of Russians from May 19 to May 29 - the share of the difficult to answer increased by 10 percent and amounted to 66 percent, while the number of one who approved and did not approved the creation of the Front. Interested in information about the unification of only 27 percent of Russians.
So far, a rather significant activity of regional authorities and social activists is visible, mainly and so close to the part of the authorities, but there is no real activity to promote the image of the “front” to the masses. Of course, the Russians do not yet think about the elections and do not even know what they will happen at the end of the year. Of course, until all propaganda flywheels are promoted. It is clear that it is still too early to talk about the failure of the election concept of the front. However, the apathy with which he is perceived gives reason to believe that so far there will be no mass entry of “ordinary citizens” there. If only because it requires some effort (by means of a network or a visit to the premiere’s reception), and for the sake of slurred something, citizens will not go to such “victims”.
