The prosecutor's office asks to sentenced activists of the anti -fascist movement of Alexei Gaskarov and Maxim Solopov, accused of attacking the building of the Khimki city administration, to two years in prison, Interfax reports.
During the debate of the parties, the representative of the prosecutor's office on Friday stated that she considers the guilt of Gaskarov and Solopova proven. “Given that the crime was committed for the first time, and also taking into account their positive characteristics from the place of residence and work, I believe that their correction is possible without serving real punishment and I ask everyone to sentenced everyone to two years in prison with a trial period of two years,” a representative of the prosecution said in court.
According to investigators, the defendants of Solopes and Gaskarov were among the active participants in the action held in Khimki at the end of July. The column of several hundred anti -fascists was march from the railway station to the building of the city administration, after which the participants in the action threw the building of the administration with stones, painted the walls and fired on windows from traumatic pistols. Thus, the attackers expressed their protest against the cutting down of the Khimki forest (
Gaskarov claims that he was in Khimki on the editorial assignment, and Solopov admits that he participated in an unauthorized procession and is ready to bear administrative responsibility, but did not commit hooligan actions.
Witness Anastasia Krivoshanova, who took photos at the scene, told the court in March that Solopov stood in a group of people who reached the administration from the railway station, but did not throw anything into the building. She saw Gaskarova only near the station in the very tail of the procession. Krivoshanova’s husband Sergey Smirnov confirmed his wife's testimony. According to Smirnov, he saw Maxim Solopov behind a detailed banner among "calmly standing people."
Earlier, Krivoshanova reported that Maxim Solopov was in a mask, and his older brother Denis (he was put on the wanted list on this case. - Ed.) Fired from the traumatic pistol. “These testimonies are given under pressure,” Krivoshanova said, adding that the investigators threatened her. Krivoshanova said that on August 4, 2010 he and her husband spent 10 hours at the Khimki police department. “We were not explained our status, they didn’t let the lawyer be allowed, but they told him that they had been released for a long time. They demanded that Denis were shooting, that Pyotr Silaev, Alexei Olesinov was there. They said that we were arrested that they would take me to the zone. How to rape me - they told me in great detail,” Krivoshanova said. Smirnov confirmed that he was also crushed, threatening to make his wife another accused in the case of an attack on the administration. “They found for these three witnesses, we will find two more for her,” Smirnov quoted one of the participants in the investigation group.
He also informed the court that the investigators demanded that he testify against the leader of the movement in defense of the Khimki forest, Yevgenia Chirikova. “But at the sixth hour of interrogation, the boss entered the office of the investigators, and told them that they no longer have to ask about Chirikov,” Smirnov said. As a result, Smirnov, under pressure, signed indications that say that Denis Solopov shot up from the pistol, and the man "in a checkered shirt and shorts with a megaphone in his hands" commanded the crowd.
Another witness, an employee of the Rain television channel Ilya Vasyunin, said that in Khimki he was like a journalist, saw Maxim Solopov and Gaskarov, but did not notice any unlawful actions for them. He did not see Denis Solopov at the scene, but then, watching the video, he noticed that he "appears and seems to be throwing a stone." The final at the meeting on March 23 was the performance of the witness Alexei Pittel from the city of Yubileiny, who became a random witness to the pogrom of the administration. In court, he did not remember where he stood, how many people saw and what they threw into the building.
The protection of activists previously stated that their publicity was the reason for their detention. Anti -fascists did not hide their faces and talked a lot with the press (
On March 2, Denis Solopov was detained in Kyiv. The detention was held near the Kyiv migration service, where the anti -fascist asked for the provision of asylum in Ukraine. On March 4, the Solomensky court of Kyiv decided on the preliminary arrest of Solopov for 40 days, on May 31 the Shevchenkovsky court extended its maintenance for another two months. Denis Solopov is accused under Article 213 of the Criminal Code "Hooliganism". He was put on the wanted list by investigators of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Moscow Region. Before his detention, Denis received the status of a mandate refugee in the Kiev representative office of the UN UN. Despite this, as well as the case of Ukraine’s refusal to provide him with asylum, the process of Solopov’s extradition to Russia has begun.
Promotions in support of the "Khimki hostages" were regularly held in Russian cities. On April 4, Moscow anti -fascists picked up the Ukrainian embassy. The picket participants held in their hands the flag of the anti -fascist movement and the banner "there is no political repression." The action took place without detention.
