
The case of the head of "Al Caida" Osama Ben Laden was officially closed to the United States. The relevant decision was made by the Federal Court of New York on Friday in connection with the death of a terrorist, which was liquidated during the operation of the American military in Pakistan, the prosecutor's office of the Southern District said.
In the case against the “number one terrorist”, about 200 points of charge were contained, which were removed after applying to the court of the Federal Prosecutor's Office - on the basis of the results of the DNA, the department confirmed that the accused was dead.
Note that DNA analysis was carried out at the United States military base in Afghanistan.
The ex-head of the terrorist organization, killed in early May in the outskirts of the Pakistani capital of Islamabad, was accused of involvement in attacks by American soldiers in Somalia in 1993, in the explosions of US embassies in West Africa and other terrorist actions that were directed against the Americans.
