Several cars fell into the abyss, a part of one of the restaurants on the river bank was demolished. Several sections of the highway were disabled, the road is blocked by fallen trees, several pedestrian and automobile bridges were damaged.

Road and rescue services work at the scene, they managed to take out about 300 vehicles from the distress zone, which were stuck in different sections of the Pass of 30 km.

The first floors and courtyards of hundreds of houses and buildings along the highway are flooded.

According to the Caucasian Knot , the incident was visited by the Prime Minister of Georgia Nika Gilauri, the Minister for Refugees and the resettlement of Koba Subeliani, the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Ramaz Nikolaishvili and Governor Shidley Kartli Zurab Arsoshvili. As Koba Schieliani said, as a result of the elements, one tree fell on his car, however, the minister himself was not injured.

The Georgian News Agency reports that the pouring rains caused the gathering of mudflows and landslides on Saturday. The automobile movement between the eastern and Western Georgia is temporarily interrupted. In the evening, a huge traffic jam formed on the bypass road.

According to Interfax , rainfall and mudflows caused serious damage to the cities of Surah and Hashuri last night, where the first floors of most buildings were flooded. Cattle, poultry, crops were destroyed, power lines are laid, several bridges were destroyed.

GHN reports that the element applied the Tbilisi regions last night. Special damage was caused by the Gldan and Mukhian district.

The streams of water also washed away the road in the Gldan region. About 700 families remained torn from the outside world. The first floors of houses are also flooded.

For a week of floods, a hurricane and bad weather have not left various regions of Georgia. Some areas of the city are left without drinking water.

In the Terzholsky district, homemade living creatures died, and serious damage was caused by agricultural lands.

On June 13, in Eastern Georgia, due to heavy rain in the Tetritzkaro region, Kvemo Kartli, a bridge was destroyed, connecting the villages of Golti and Ardisubani, the houses and crops of local residents were flooded, about 40 families were injured. In addition, in the village of Ardisubani a landslide set off, which blocked the road, dividing the village into two parts.

According to weather forecasts, storm rains in Western Georgia will last until June 22.
