“We plan to purchase titanium parts produced in Russia in the amount of $17 billion over the next twenty years,” said Sergei Kravchenko.

According to him, “Russia is indeed the largest supplier for Boeing.”

“We buy engineering developments, we buy technologies, we develop technologies together with Russian scientists, we create advanced information technologies, Boeing buys hundreds of millions of dollars worth of equipment and services from Russia, collaborating in a sector that seems to me key to the well-being of the Russian economy,” - said Kravchenko.

In addition, he noted that he was proud of the creation of a joint venture with VSMPO-Avisme of the Russian Technologies State Corporation.

"...we created this enterprise together with Russian Technologies, 50/50 - each party contributed half... This investment is a very important project for us, a very significant investment - the important thing is that we invested exactly the same amount as we invested our partner. ... And this joint venture decides the fate of our Dreamliner, our 737 NG, and we will increase purchases of titanium parts,” concluded Kravchenko.
