What will the people say

Two weeks ago, the Swiss public rebelled against the new owner of the Xamax football club, Bulat Chagaev. A Chechen businessman acquired one of the oldest teams in May 2011 and immediately promised to instill in it a Chechen character. Then the Swiss did not attach any importance to these words. But when Chagaev proposed renaming the club “Xamax-Vainakh”, a commotion began in Switzerland. “Vainakh” translated means “our people,” that is, the people’s team, lawyer Chagaev defended his client. “Our people and the Chechen people are two big differences!” - the honorary president of the club, Gilbert Facinetti, attacked. And last week Chagaev suffered another puncture. Terek kicked Dutch coach Ruud Gullit out of the club, accusing him of “disappearing in nightclubs” instead of working with the team. It was Chagaev who invited Gullit to Chechnya, and he paid him his salary. After his resignation, Chagaev put the Dutchman on his plane and took him to Switzerland: either for an explanatory conversation, or to the joy (or grief) of Xamax fans.
