Political scientist Stanislav Belkovsky is not surprised that so far there are not many people under the “real democracy”. In Spain, socialists are in power, but they cannot cope with unemployment and worsening the social status of citizens. The initiative was supported: soon there were already four thousand inhabitants of the Spanish capital in the square.
The Madrid police had enough stupidity to disperse an absolutely peaceful meeting. Then, in the Spanish political discourse, the word “indignant” appeared - such an analogue of Russian “disagreed”. The Spaniards were indignant that the police for no reason applies power to their citizens, and already in dozens of cities of the country more than 150 thousand people reached the square. He warmed up the movement and cruel acceleration of those gathered in Barcelona at the end of May: accelerated due to fears of popular unrest in connection with the participation of FC Barcelona in the final of the UEFA Cup.

Spanish activists published a call for international solidarity on the web, and they heard: the number of gathered in the squares of Greek cities exceeded the same 150 thousand people. It was still quite predictable - in recent years, everyone has used to protest for Greek love. But then thousands and thousands of people were on the squares of Portugal, France, Great Britain, Germany. The media spoke that a wave of Arab revolutions reached Europe. But the movement crossed the European boundaries.
Many observers see in “real democracy” the revival of the anti -globalist movement, which almost ended with the crisis. Party symbolism and printed agitation materials on folk assemblies are not welcome. “We are not talking about the right and left, but about the tops and bottoms”-one of the slogans of the new radical-democratic movement.
Its participants believe that ordinary people should create structures of direct democracy, that is, directly, on equal terms with each other, discuss existing problems and think how they can be solved. The authorities of discussions and decision -making, according to the participants, should be permanent folk assemblies. To do this, directly on the streets, activists break tent towns. YES, We Camp (“Yes, we defeated the camp”) - Supporters of direct democracy wittily paraphrased the election slogan of Barack Obama - Yes, We Can (“Yes, we can”).
Actually, the same idea is the basis of Antiseliger, which was opened on June 17, Evgenia Chirikov and Alexei Navalny.
