AvtoVAZ will be engaged in the production of modern wheelchairs

The production of modern wheelchairs-collars is expected to begin on July 4 on the basis of AvtoVAZ, Tatyana Golikova, Minister of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation, said on Thursday. The assembly of wheelchairs will be carried out by the world's famous German company Ottobokservis.

For this, within the framework of the program to reduce tension in the labor market, personnel were selected from among employees who were released during the reorganization of AvtoVAZ. 18 employees of the new production have already undergone internships and training in Germany. In 2011, 10 thousand strollers will be collected at the Volga Automobile Plant, in 2014-up to 40 thousand, ITAR-TASS reports.

We will remind, earlier in June, the first of five in the Lada R90 pilot batch of LADA R90 cars created on the Renault Model platform came off from the AvtoVAZ conveyor.
