A fire occurred at the GRES in Surgut, 12 people were injured

Twelve people were injured as a result of gas cotton for GRES-1 in Surgut. According to RIA Novosti, this was announced by the representative of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. "At 07.45, gas cotton occurred in the gas regulatory hall, in which 12 people were injured, five of them are in serious condition," the agency’s interlocutor said.

According to him, at 08.39 the fire was eliminated, the causes of the emergency are clarified. As a result of the incident, glass was knocked out in the room, equipment was damaged by fire.

The fire was assigned a second complexity number on a five -point scale. 44 experts of the Ministry of Emergencies and 13 units of equipment worked on the spot.

“The accident will not be affected by the incident, since the gas regulatory point was on the repair. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
