The Ministry of the Interior turned to the government with a request to allocate 280 million rubles to the department annually to finance "confidential cooperation with citizens." According to Izvestia, a source in the Department of the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this. According to him, for each message that will help to reveal the crime, the police plans to pay citizens up to 300 thousand rubles.

According to the source, the Ministry of Internal Affairs asks to increase the financing of the department as a whole by 670-690 billion rubles since this year. In addition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs asks for another 400 million rubles for monitoring public opinion, which will allow you to control the work of the police.

The department is going to begin the official payment of "confidential cooperation with citizens" since 2012. Until now, law enforcement agencies have paid only the services of specially hired full -time agents. Their income and recruitment features are unknown, as they make up the state.

Now the Ministry of Internal Affairs decided to pay random witnesses who do not want to report what they know without material reward. According to one of the employees of the department, earlier to pay for the services of such people, it was necessary to use the Black Cashier, now the ministry wants to make such a allocation of funds legal. According to the source, now the department asks the money from public or business structures interested in disclosing a crime, and most resonant crimes manage to disclose without the services of informants.

So, a loud robbery of Sberbank collectors in Perm in the summer of 2009 was revealed. In February, he was sentenced by the court to 8 years in prison.

In the summer of 2009, the Central Internal Affairs Directorate in the Rostov Region promised to pay a major award to the witnesses of the murder near Rostov-on-Don, Lieutenant Colonel, Group of Dmitry Chudakov and his family. The money remained unclaimed. In September, the murder suspect was detained.
