Dmitry Urumov was left under arrest until November

The Basmanny Court of Moscow extended until November the deadline for the arrest of the former head of the Department of the Moscow Regional Prosecutor's Office Dmitry Urumov - at the request of the investigation.

Urumov is accused of receiving a bribe from the organizers of the underground casinos in the suburbs.

By a court decision, an employee of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Mikhail Kulikov, arrested in the same case, will remain in custody, by a court decision.

In total, 10 law enforcement officers were arrested in the investigation of the creation of an illegal gambling business in the Moscow Region.

Last week, the court released one of the suspects - the former prosecutor of Noginsk Vladimir Glebov, who pleaded guilty and collaborated with the investigation.
