"Alien from Sirius" July 19 will appear in Novosibirsk before court

The Novosibirsk District Court decided on the date of the first trial in the case of the organizer of the religious sect "Ashram Shambala" Konstantin Rudnev, accused of creating a sect that attracted young people by occultism, drugs and sexual orgies.

"The court session is scheduled for July 19, it will be held closed," Interfax was told today in the district court.

K. Rudnev is charged under Art. 131 of the Criminal Code (rape), Art. 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violent actions of a sexual nature), Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal sale of drugs) and part 1 of Art. 239 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organization of an association encroaching on the identity and rights of citizens).

Earlier, the Novosibirsk court extended for three months the detention period of K. Rudnev, which is contained in the pre -trial detention center of Novosibirsk.

The victims of the case were recognized by 15 people from different regions of the country, they filed claims worth more than 18 million rubles.

The activities of the Religious Association "Ashram Shambala", operating in the territory of the Novosibirsk Region, was stopped in October 2010. K. Rudnev, calling himself Sri Jnan Avatar Muni, seemed an alien from Sirius, sent to the ground to enlighten people and lead them to the truth.

According to police, a sect under the leadership of K. Rudnev was created more than 20 years ago. Eastern occult practices were based on its ideology. Members of the sect, mainly young people from 17 to 30 years old, lost their usual circle of communication and lifestyle. According to them, according to the investigation, there was a psychological and emotional impact that, in most cases, led to leaving home , the loss of family ties, reorientation from generally accepted moral standards and ethics to orders of orders cultivated in the circle of participants in the sect.
