Like, since the Khodorkovsky case was not accepted for consideration as a political, then the Lutsenko case cannot be considered as all the more. Probably, the same answer will be followed in case of appeal to the court of the former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko - they say, do not interfere with the fight against corruption.

One could once again marvel at the myopia of European justice, who was shy to tell the truth about Khodorkovsky - or think about the imperfection of a procedure that did not allow preparing a document that would prompted the Strasbourg court to take a different position. But this is not even the point, but how the post -Soviet leaders are the same in their desires. With what admiration they look at Moscow, how they want to not just plant opponents in Kutuzov and send to places not so remote, but also to be considered tireless wrestlers with corruption, European integrators and receive a quadriga that your Vaclav Gavel.

If these people were asked what they would like as a result of indefatigable activities for the benefit of the world, they would answer simply: more money, rule like Putin, and have a reputation as Teresa’s mother. Which is proved to explain the representative of the Ukrainian government in the European Court. At the same time, a high -ranking official does not even understand that the reference to Khodorkovsky’s case smells badly, if only because whatever decisions the European court would make, for the public opinion of Western countries - namely, Yuri Lutsenko appeals to him, turning to Strasbourg - the Khodorkovsky case smells bad. And to compare Lutsenko’s case with the Khodorkovsky case - this means recognizing the arguments of the former minister.

For the Ukrainian authorities, Khodorkovsky’s business smells well - she does not even understand why it is impossible to refer to him, which is why it looks a self -arrival. And this difference in the perception of the smell creates an invisible, but well -felt barrier between the Ukrainian authorities and the civilized world. In the end, there are always people who, with manic pleasure, inhale the smell of authoritarianism, judicial arbitrariness and smug lies and get drunk from this vile aroma as a good wine. But it is unlikely that these people can hope for the reputation of Vaclav Gavel or the mother of Teresa - no matter what they write to the European court and whatever bonuses they receive.
