Earlier, the Secretary of the Presidium of the Secretary General of the party, Sergei Neverov, said that the party’s congress could be postponed, since the time of it depends on the date of the president’s decree on elections to the State Duma. According to the law, the party’s election congresses should be carried out no earlier than 10 days after the release of the presidential decree. The decree of the head of state should be extended from August 16 to September 3.

It is expected that about four thousand candidates will take part in the congress. The first day of the congress is planned to be devoted to the approval of the so -called folk program, with which the party will go to parliamentary elections. On the agenda of the second day of the congress - nomination of candidates for elections to the State Duma and voting for this list.
