Judging by the results of the monthly survey of the Levada Center (conducted on July 15-19), the sympathy of voters are distributed between four main political players, and the only question that arises at the start of the race is whether the “fair Russia” will be able to overcome 7% of the barrier.
“Levada Center” usually introduces a non-registered party “Parnas” into the questionnaire. Its leaders are cheerful, but the rating ranges at 2%.
As for United Russia, its rating has grown by 1% and is 54%. The Communist Party stably retains 18% rating, the LDPR was a little “blown away” from 14% in May to 12% in July. Fair Russia has a good result, almost 7% of the vote. The remaining parties have 1-2%each. Thus, if the elections took place this Sunday, United Russia, according to the Levada survey, would receive 64% of all Duma mandates, the Communist Party would have 22%, and the LDPR had 15% of the mandates. But if “Fair Russia” nevertheless went to the Duma with a result of more than 7%, then the United Russia would receive 59% of the mandates, the Communists-20%, liberal democrats-14, and the SSSs themselves-8% of the vote.
Obviously, the data given by the “levada” center demonstrate the conservatism of the Russian voter and, in general, so far suggest that the electorate is waiting for an inertial scenario of the campaign. That it is unlikely that you can count on a sharp buildup of the situation that is able to turn the political palette.
In this context, the figures in the “right business” look rather sad - if Prokhorov does not make efforts in the near future to increase the fame and popularity of his own project, this can cost a lot of the party, and even deprive it of a chance of passing into parliament.
Levada-Center also cited data on Moscow, as in a special region. Here, some negative dynamics of United Russia, nevertheless, demonstrates that the party of power as a whole, feels good in the capital (the result is 36%). Given the fact that in Moscow the antedinossex electorate, although noticeable, but politically passive, that is, does not go to the elections, it can be assumed that the capital will give more than 50% of the vote.
It is worth emphasizing that summer data, especially during the vacation season, can hardly be considered seriously and is unlikely to be extrapolating the results to the hypothetical results of the Duma elections. The election campaign has not yet officially began, and the main bets of the party will still be made no earlier than October.
