
The richest businessman of Russia, the head of the Board of Directors of the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant, Vladimir Lisin, will replace the Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin as head of the board of directors of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, Kommersant reports. Sechin himself signed the corresponding government of the government to vote by state representatives in the Council of Directors. "The decision of the Council for the appointment of Vladimir Lisin to the post of chairman will be adopted in the coming days," said one of the interlocutors of the publication.
"The appointment of Vladimir Lisin by the chairman of the board of directors of the OSK is the most comfortable option for Roman Trotsenko (head of the OSK. - Ed.)," Says a source in the government. He explains that Trotsenko "is considered the creature of Vladimir Lisin, who personally introduced the top manager Igor Sechin as a potential candidate for the President of the OSK."
In addition to Sechin, the Board of Directors of the OSK was left by the head of the Federal Property Management Agency Yuri Petrov and the ex-president of Rosneft Sergey Bogdanchikov. The released places were taken by President of the OSK Roman Trotsenko and the head of the Morgan Stanley Bank, Cyrus Simonyan - the number of council members decreased from 13 to 12 people.
In April, Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin resigned his authority to the chairman of the board of directors of Rosneft. The place of Sechin in the council was taken by the senior vice president of VTB Sergey Shishin. Sergei Shishin "has a very good relationship with Igor Sechin and the FSB leadership, in particular, with the director of the service Alexander Bortnikov."
In early April, it became known that the deputy chairman of the government and federal ministers would be withdrawn from the board of directors of 17 companies with state participation. Among those who should leave the post in the council of directors of the state -owned company was called Sechin. The withdrawal of relevant ministers and deputy prime ministers from the composition of the board of directors of state-owned companies was initiated by President Dmitry Medvedev and is one of the measures that are expected to have a beneficial effect on the investment climate in Russia.
Among other measures aimed at improving the investment climate in the country, there is an expansion of the rights of minority shareholders, the creation of a special regime for considering complaints about corruption, control over the quality of public services, creating a mechanism for reducing the costs of public procurement.
The ministers and representatives of the presidential administration are obliged to leave the advice of directors of state -owned companies by October 1, 2011. At the same time, a number of high -ranking officials, including the head of the Ministry of Finance Alexei Kudrin and the first deputy prime minister Viktor Zubkov. They must leave the board of companies with state participation until July 1, 2011.
