According to The Independent newspaper, a video shot by the police for educational purposes - in order to demonstrate the features of the investigation of this kind of crime, was stolen from police archives several years ago. For the first time, the video surfaced in 2004, when the police discovered that the records were sold on VHS cassettes on the market in Tasmania.

It was still not possible to find out who exactly stole the video. Now investigators are trying to find out who has posted a copy of the network.

The video appeared on the Internet only a few days after the 32-year-old Anders Breivik blew up a bomb in the center of the Norway of Oslo, and then shot dozens of people on the island of Utoya. 76 people became the victims of the maniac. This tragedy forced the inhabitants of Tasmania to recall the massacre in Port Arthur. According to the authorities, by the attackers who posted the video of the massacre, it was cruel to do this after a double terrorist attack in Norway.

The Australian police launched an investigation and asked the YouTube resource and other websites where the video appeared, delete it.
