In the first week of August, the demand for kerosene at exchange -offs exceeded the supply of thirteen times, the market experts told Rossiy newspaper . As a result, the price of fuel rose 1.5-2 thousand rubles per ton, that is, by 5-10%.
According to the estimates of the executive director of the industry news agency "Aviaport" Oleg Panteleev, the cost of tickets will increase by 1.5%. How much the fuel fee can increase, which is taken from passengers of charter flights, the expert did not dare to name.
The rise in price of fuel reached the airfields, and the price practically equal to the peak period of the crisis of 2009. The most expensive fuel for aircraft is now in the Far East. It has to be imported here due to a stop for the prevention of two refineries at once.
The remaining oil refineries now instead of kerosene are driving winter diesel fuel for Rosrezerva, experts say. At the same time, the production of airlines in Russia is not regulated in any way, they say.
Foreign carriers and foreign carriers are spurred, who prefer to refuel in Russia to the eyeballs, since their fuel is more expensive than ours, Oleg Panteleev explains.
However, the increase in the cost of tickets will not lead to a decrease in the volume of transportation. Today, carriers are not chasing the number of passengers on board, but they want to earn money, that is, to carry with income, and not demonstrate miracles of generosity. Moreover, only those who fly abroad can make a profit.
On the internal lines, passenger transportation is so unprofitable by 9.8-10%, that is, for each ruble spent for the passenger transported, aviators have to pay 10 cents at the expense of international transport.
