In Kyiv, Tymoshenko lawyers will appeal her arrest

The defense of the ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko, who is accused of abuse of authority when signing gas contracts with Russia in 2009, intends to appeal the court order on its arrest.

This was announced on Friday by lawyer Tymoshenko Yuri Sukhov.

Earlier on Friday, the court changed Tymoshenko’s measure of restraint from the unsubscription of the arrest - due to the fact that the defendant demonstrates disrespect for the court.

From the hall of the court Tymoshenko in Avtozak was taken to Lukyanovskoye pre -trial detention center. The ex-prime minister was put in the same camera as during her arrest in 2000.

In connection with the arrest of Tymoshenko, clashes of her supporters occurred with police outfits on the court of the court. It was reported about the victims on both sides.

The next court session in the ex-Prime Minister was scheduled for August 8.
