Polish Foreign Minister apologized to Belarusian oppositionists

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslav Sikorsky apologized to the Belarusian opposition for Warsaw to provide official Minsk about their bank accounts. According to BBC Russian, for an apology, the minister chose his microblog.

“On behalf of Poland, I apologize. This is a reprehensible mistake made, despite the warning of the Foreign Ministry. We will increase the efforts to maintain democracy in Belarus,” Sikorsky wrote.

The Belarusian authorities received from Poland data on the accounts of opposition based on interstate cooperation agreements. Previously, Lithuania provided the same information to the authorities of Belarus.

After that, the famous Belarusian human rights activist and vice-president of the International Human Rights Alex Belyatsky was arrested. On August 5, it was placed for 10 days in the pre -trial detention center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs "on the fact of tax evasion on an especially large scale."

Valentin Stefanovich, Deputy Chairman of the Vesna Human Rights Center, said in Lithuania that Belarusian tax authorities also demand from him a Belyak explanations about money discovered in Vilnius accounts.
