A few days before the opening, the Heroes of Max 2011 are already named by the organizers of the air show: in military aviation, the main exhibit will be the Russian fighter T-50, and in the civilian-Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A-380. The aircraft leaders of the world aircraft industry will be shown for the first time in Moscow. It is expected that this year Russia will become the main customer of products of both its own and foreign manufacturers of civilian and military equipment. The volume of predicted transactions at the air show is from 3 to 10 billion dollars. According to the editor-in-chief of the Russian Internet portal Avia.ru Roman Gusarov , the main transactions for Max 2011 will occur in the field of civil aviation:
- First of all, I think these will be transactions related to the acquisition of Russian airlines and state -owned planes of Western production - Boeing and Eirbas. There will be, perhaps, contracts for the acquisition of A-320 aircraft for Russian airlines. World manufacturers represent the whole maximum that they can offer today to the Russian market. And the Russian market is very interesting and promising at least because it at the moment shows record indicators for the growth of transportation. Of course, there will be contracts on Russian technology, primarily related to the Sukhoi Superjet-100 aircraft, An-148, An-158. Perhaps some agreements on the MS-21 main aircraft will be signed-this is a new Russian promising plane.
Roman Gusarov noted that Russian aircraft builders at this air show do not represent any large independent commercial project-they are increasingly working with world leaders. For example, the same Dreamliner is designed using the Boeing Moscow Design Center, which operates over 1200 Russian engineers.
- More than half of the metal and titanium used on Dreamliner is supplied with Russian enterprises, and Russian engineers participated in the development of the aircraft itself. Today, Russian enterprises supply components for Airbas aircraft, and components produced by Russian enterprises are installed on every third A-320 aircraft, ”said Roman Gusarov.
Max 2011 promises a large exposition of the US Air Force and other foreign states, a rich flight program, traditional performances of pilot groups. The historical part of the flight show will be expanded due to the participation of aircraft in it from the Second World War.
