In the case of slowing down the pace of economic growth of the president (also not quite fair), as a rule, is considered the main culprit. How can Obama's low rating affect the presidential election that will take place in November next year? This question is answered by political scientist Karlin Bownean , an employee of the American Enterprise Institute:

- Today's low popularity of Obama can be a temporary phenomenon, but if it is preserved, then in the elections his position will be very vulnerable. Those less, in the past elections for Obama, 90 percent of black voters voted. This is an extremely monolithic ethnic group. After all, before Obama became president, most African Americans voted for the Democrats.

- What other “secret weapons” do Obama have?

Analysts explain the interest of voters in Perry by his successes in creating new jobs in Texas, as well as the image of a decisive, pragmatic manager, who, in the context of a shaky economic situation, can be especially attractive for both the average voter and conservative Republicans.
