In particular, according to eyewitnesses, the foci of resistance of the opposition will still remain in the area of ​​Bab al-Azias. Earlier, the opposition assessed that the forces of Gaddafi control only 20 percent of the territory of the Libyan capital.

On the night of August 22, the Libyan rebels took control of almost the entire Tripoli, with the exception of the small quarter of Bab al-Azia, where the residence of Gaddafi is located. The rebels captured the airport, the television building, and also captured two sons of the Libyan leader - Mohammad and the safe al -Islam, and the International Criminal Court achieves the issuance of the latter.
