The license of the Discounter company "Aviation" wants to suspend for debts

Avianova airline owes about 1.5 billion rubles to service suppliers, Finmarket said with reference to a senior source in the Ministry of Transport.

This amount includes debts for fuel, catering, air navigation, airport services, leasing payments for aircraft and others.

This week, the head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Alexander Neudko, will hold a meeting with the General Director of the Avianov Vladimir Gorbunov. The air carrier passes the procedure for extending the operator’s certificate, for which he submitted a package of documents for verification of the financial and economic condition. Based on the results of the meeting, a decision will be made: to renew the operator’s certificate or not.

The Federal Air Transport Agency can suspend the certificate of the Avianov operator due to the unstable financial situation of the air carrier.

The head of the Avianovs Gorbunov told the agency that the company has only the current debt to the airports, which the air carrier extinguishes at the end of the month. "Everything is within the framework of current debt, we work with many airports on prepayment," he said.

In mid -July, Aviation Directed her managing director Andrew Pine. Some media reported that this happened due to the conflict of shareholders. However, the company itself clarified that Pine was dismissed for violations of Russian legislation "throughout cooperation with the company."

This led to sanctions by the authorities and the prosecutor's office in relation to the general director of the Avianov Vladimir Gorbunov, as well as to the threat of restriction of the airline, the carrier noted.

Avianova airline in 2010 incurred a net loss of 710 million rubles. The revenue of the air carrier increased from 159 million in 2009 to 2.36 billion in 2010.

The Avianov fleet consists of six A-320. According to the results of 2010, the company transported more than 1.3 million people.
