From August 29, the format of evening news will change on Channel One, which come out of Monday to Friday at 18:00. According to Kommersant , the news will become more personified - an important role will be assigned to the host. In addition, instead of 20 minutes, the release will last 45 minutes. Its structure will also change - in addition to traditional reports in the issue at 18:00, the replica of Mikhail Leontyev will appear “However” and the sports news block will return, and they will not only tell about the achievements of athletes, but also their personal life.

But the main bet, as the publication writes, “Channel One” wants to make on the Pro & Contra format, which has not yet been on Russian television as part of daily information programs.
