At Stavropol, they shot a mobile post of traffic police

Unknown people fired at the traffic police car in the Stavropol Territory. According to RIA Novosti, a source in the regional law enforcement agencies, one policeman died. The incident occurred at 22.30 in the village of Mirny Potigoreny district, near the district police station on Shosseyaya Street.

“Two unknown people fired at the Lada’s office car with the traffic police inspectors, in which the police lieutenant and police lieutenant were located. As a result, the senior lieutenant from the injuries died, the second police officer did not suffer,” the agency’s interlocutor said.

According to him, the attackers took the Kalashnikov assault rifle of the murdered traffic police inspector, after which they disappeared. The search for criminals is underway.

The criminal case was instituted under Art. 317 (an encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer), 222 (illegal turnover of weapons) and under Art. 229 (theft of weapons)
