The bank "International Financial Club", included in the ONEXIM group, businessman Mikhail Prokhorov, was searched. According to RIA Novosti, this was announced by the press secretary of the Party of the right business Alexei Urazov. “A search is being held. No one explained anything to us,” said Urazov.
According to the source of Gazeta.ru, the search was held "with riot police and with all the affairs." According to him, the bank’s office is located in the same building, where the ONEXIM office, at 13 Tverskaya Boulevard, is still unknown.
The Bank of the IFC, as Lenta.ru clarifies, was widely known in 2009, when Prokhorov invited a number of largest businessmen to participate in his work. The shareholders of the IFC, in particular, were Victor Vekselberg, Alexander Abramov and the wife of Sergey Chemezova Ekaterina Ignatova. Due to the composition of the IFC shareholders, the press is often called the "bank of oligarchs."
Businessman Mikhail Prokhorov headed the party at the end of June 2011. He stated that the “right business” would strive to become the “second party in power” and enter the parliament.
Prokhorov also spoke about the need to increase social expanses and reduce the defense budget, change the infrastructure of the economy and the country's management system, cancel the institution of the embassy, give great powers to the regions, and restore the elections of mayors of cities, including Moscow and St. Petersburg.
