Online cargo transportation service “Everyone is Lucky”

The project of the online cargo transportation service “Lucky for Everyone” implements in the Internet space a platform for the transportation of private cargo up to 5 tons: moving, transportation of furniture, transportation of personal belongings and household appliances, delivery of building materials, garbage removal, tow truck services and towing.

The operating principle of the service is simple : the cargo owner (customer) leaves his order, which is competed among carriers using an auction system. In addition to the lowest price, the choice of the cargo owner is also influenced by the rating and level of reliability of the carrier (consisting of documents confirmed by us and reviews of other customers), as well as additional conditions (for example, the availability of loaders, special packaging, etc.).

The service is convenient for the carrier as it provides a constantly replenished database of orders for his region; in addition, he can select his own cargo for the return trip. This factor, plus the built-in auction system, allows the cargo owner to save from 20 to 70% by selecting the optimal carrier at the best price.

The project started two months ago and now works throughout Russia. At the end of August, 400 carriers were registered in the system, 320 orders were received, 67 of them were implemented. The number of applications increases every week, there is an excellent increase in bidding for cargo and completed transportation; just one day is enough to receive about 5-6 price offers.

The main task of the project at the moment is to attract as many carriers as possible to create a competitive market. Everything is very simple - the more carriers work with our service, the greater savings the cargo owner receives. Serious work is currently underway to strengthen the cartographic interface and modernize automatic routing. Soon, the service will add a function for automatically searching for cargo by region of interest - the carrier indicates which areas he is interested in working with and receives automatic notifications about new orders.

To work as closely as possible with clients, chat support has been integrated into the service, where one-on-one conversations are held and assistance is provided to service visitors. Conversations within this chat are kept as informal as possible. A lot of work is aimed at selecting and verifying information about carriers so that the customer can be provided with at least a subjective rating. First name, last name, home address, mobile phone are checked. We also have excellent maps that plot routes throughout Russia.

The team of the “Lucky Everyone” project consists of 7 people on staff and the same number outside the staff. It is planned to update the design and add new features in the month of December. Currently, access to the project is open to everyone and is free, but with the design update, some functionality (SMS notifications, expanded personal account, etc.) will become paid for the carrier.
