Rostransnadzor banned the flight of the Yak-42 aircraft from Turkey to Moscow. The audit revealed in the engine of one of the aircraft of the Yak Service airline, whose Yak-42 crashed on September 7 under Yaroslavl , the unit with an expired service life, Rostransnadzor reports on Saturday. The technical malfunction of the aircraft is one of the versions of the causes of the disaster near Yaroslavl, which claimed 43 lives.

"During the total check of the Yak -42 aircraft park, the inspectors of the Rostransnadzor found that the engine of the Yak Service Aviation Company CJSC set the unit with an expired operating life, which poses a threat of safety flight," the department said.

This Yak-42 was supposed to fly out of the city of Izmir (Turkey) to the Moscow Airport "Vnukovo" on September 11, RIA Novosti reports. Thus, Rostransnadzor suppressed an attempt to make a potentially dangerous flight on a aircraft. "The General Director of CJSC" Aviation Company "Yak Service" issued an inspection order on the suspension of flights on the aircraft until the violation is eliminated, "Rostransnadzor reports.

According to the Ministry of Emergencies, there were 45 people on board - 37 passengers and eight crew members. As the main versions of the tragedy, the investigation considers the technical malfunction of the aircraft and the piloting error.

On Friday, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation reported that he would check the activities of the Federal Air Transport Agency regarding the performance of the functions of certification of the Yak Service airline, as well as on the subject of inspection control of the carrier, compliance with the training programs for aviation personnel and the organization of training, advanced training, issuing aircraft certificates to its employees.

Also on Friday, Rostransnadzor said that the department of the department checked six Yak-42 aircraft and decided to suspend the operation of three such vessels of Terrible Avia, Gazprom Avia and Krasavia, as well as five ships of the Yak Service company.

Rostransnadzor suspended the operation of another Yak-42 aircraft IL-Avia. “During the inspection of the Yak-42 aircraft, IL-Avia Airport at Domodedovo Airport detected violations affecting flight safety,” the official representative of Rostransnadzor Sergey Romanchev told Interfax on Saturday.

According to him, in connection with the identified violations, the flight to Makhachkala from the Domodedovo Airport is prohibited. The general director of the IL-Avia airline issued an inspection order to suspend flights on this aircraft until the detected violations are eliminated.
