Three -dimensional pictures of Hitler made at the 1936 Olympics were published

For the first time, three-dimensional photographs of the leaders of fascist Germany, led by Adolf Hitler, made in the 1930s, were released for the first time. Hoffmann made pictures together with the publisher Wilhelm Otto Shenstain, the German magazine Bild writes.

After the First World War, the young Munich photographer Hoffmann began to print pictures of revolutionary events and sell cards. Soon he joined the National Socialist Party and began to look for meetings with Hitler. Having met him at some kind of wedding, Hoffman fascinated Hitler. "You conquered me!" - said the leader of the Nazis Hoffmann, fulfilling his dream - appointing him his personal photographer. Thus, Hoffmann has become the most influential photographer in Germany of his time.

Hoffmann went to his experiment on the eve of the Olympic Games, turning for assistance to Shenstein. For this, Hoffmann and Shenstein first used double optics cameras. The book presents 100 photos from these sports.

The manufacture of three -dimensional images was also used by opponents of fascist Germany. When conducting aerial photography and carefully processing the pictures received, the British Air Force specialists found military facilities where the famous FAU missiles were launched and from the territory of which were launched. The strokes inflicted on them reduced the number of victims among the British population.
