Data on the objects are entered into the so -called main catalog, consumers of information from which are both military and civilian organizations, including American partners with whom the data is made.
By 2016, it is planned, due to the modernization of the means of observing and using the new computers, to bring the size of the main catalog to 30 thousand entries about objects in size from 10 cm.
In total, according to the colonel, about 100 thousand objects of artificial origin are located in the near -Earth space.
