The Cocal network Facebook constantly monitors users, collecting their data, even when the user is not authorized in the system.
According to ZDNET , the hacker Nick Kubrilovich, having analyzed the HTTP queries sent by browsers to Facebook.com, revealed the presence of modified cookies that appear after leaving the Facebook page.
These files contain all the information that is necessary for authorization on the social network, which allows Facebook specialists to distinguish one user from another when collecting information about it.
And by pressing the “Exit” button on his Facebook page, the user actually remains on the network - just some cookies are replaced by others, which creates the appearance of the exit.
Users do not even suspect that the Facebook network continues to collect all the information it needs about this or that user - what sites he goes to, what services he uses and where he is currently, if we are talking about mobile access.
As ZDNET notes, while Facebook works intensely on improving its image, such information again reminds users that their personal data is not confidential at all.
Recall that in August this year, government officials were recommended to abandon the use of Facebook. The Center for Protection of the Intelligence of Personal Life in Germany announced a statement stating that the leadership of the social network transfers personal information about users to third parties in the United States. "Facebook users should know that they are tracked by the company," the center said, noting that this is a violation of the law of the European Union to protect personal information.
Recall that the head of Facebook MACR Tsuckerberg during the conference for developers F8 Developers announced a number of innovations for users. Among them are Timeline and Social App.
Now the user profile is a "temporary scale". Under the photograph of the owner of the account, his publications and photographs are displayed in chronological order, while the user has the opportunity to mark individual events on the scale, increasing the size of the tablet twice, or, conversely, hide them.
You can add the Facebook internal applications to the “Time scale”, which will allow you to find out about the current interests of friends - for example, what kind of music they listen to or what video watch.
Facebook subscribers will be able to indicate which records and events from their lives can be shown to the page visitors, and which should remain private.
Another innovation is social app (Social App). With their help, you can share your hobbies and preferences with other users. For example, talk about your favorite musical artists or culinary recipes.
Applications will allow Facebook users legally listen to music or watch movies. The company intends to sign an agreement with several streaming services, such as Netflix and Hulu, to obtain access to video content, as well as closely cooperate with the Spotify service, which will provide audio recordings.
Facebook will register the actions of each user, and his friends will have the opportunity to monitor his activity: such information will be reflected on the new panel called Ticker.
A number of changes will also be made on the social network that are designed to beg the management of the news feed. The profile page will be more like a blog. According to ITAR-TASS, some users are unhappy that the announced changes will make Facebook similar to Twitter. The changes are also visible to rivalry with a new fast -growing competitor - Google+.
Facebook launches new services at a time when he has a certain outflow of the audience in Russia. Such transformations can be effective and hold the audience of the social network, the Russian segment of which, according to the results of the Comscore study, in August of this year decreased by 6.6%.
The launch of the new interface is risky, because it can lead to the fact that some users will turn away from the social network. However, apparently, for Facebook, this will be a temporary process, after which old users will return and adapt to changes, and the influx of new ones will increase. The company promises to introduce new functions gradually so that users can get used to them.
As noted by the head of the Internet communications of Tele2, Alexander Blokhin, from such innovations Facebook will look for an audience at the expense of partners.
"To conquer the audience, social networks are looking for ways to cooperate with the entities that have these audiences. For example, Facebook in Russia began with media cooperation: the media has an audience, why not try to drag it into social networks. Therefore, for example, the Facebook logo is shown in the Vesti program, on the Russia-1 television channel, and references to the television channel, and references to the links to The pages of the social network are on the websites of Kommersant, Vedomosti.
