The Dynamo football club (Moscow) is expecting from the President of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Sergey Fursenko an answer to the question why last Sunday in Samara it was decided to hold the Match of the Premier League.

“The football match in Samara between Dynamo and the Wings of the Soviets took place on the field where it was simply impossible to play football. We asked for postponing the meeting, but we were not heard,” the chairman of the trusteeship of the Dynamo football club Sergey Stepashin told Interfax .

The day before, in the match of the 25th round of the Russian Football Championship, Dynamo suddenly lost in Samara the local Wings of the Soviets with a minimum score. The only ball in this meeting in the 11th minute was scored by Sergey Kornilenko. At the same time, the football field was completely filled with water after rainfall.

"Yesterday, I turned to the President of the RFU Fursenko with a request to investigate the actions of the judge who allowed the holding of this match. Who needs football and for whom the teams play in conditions absolutely not suitable for this game? Fursenko promised to investigate this situation and announce the results publicly," Stepashin said.

“I believe that in such conditions the match could not be held,” said Dynamo mentor Sergei Silkin. “This can be called as you like - water polo, struggle in mud - but not football. We tuned in to show a beautiful game, but it was impossible on such a field.”
