Six Muslims from Birmingham are charged with terrorism

Six representatives of the Muslim community of the English city of Birmingham and its suburbs were charged with various types of terrorist activities and aiding terrorism. This was reported by the County Police of West-Midlands.

All six will appear today before the magistrate court of West London, ITAR-TASS reports.

All of them were detained on the night of September 18 to 19 as a result of the most large-scale special operation with the participation of the anti-terrorist unit of Scotland Yard. Then, a week ago, the British media immediately transmitted the information that this six allegedly prepared a terrorist attack in the UK.

The accusations of terrorism actually were brought by the four detainee: 30-year-old Irfan Naser, 26-year-old Irfan Halid, 26-year-old Ali Ali and 25-year-old Rakhin Ahmed.

Nasser, Khalid and Ali were accused of planning explosions from December 25 to September 19, as well as in statements about intention to become terrorists, in the collection of financial resources for terrorist goals, in the direct manufacture and assistance of a home-made bomb and in recruiting the terrorist mercenaries.

Nasser and Khalid are also accused of making trips to Pakistan in order to pass terrorist practice, including the acquisition of training skills for the manufacture of bombs, other types of weapons and poisons, as well as in the production of a film that calls for a terrorist attack and become martyrs.

Ahmed was charged with assistance in making trips to terrorist courses to Pakistan, as well as in raising funds and their use for goals pursued by international terrorism.

Two more detainees - the 28 -year -old Bachate Ali, who is Brother Ali Ali, and the 32 -year -old Mohammed Rizwan - are accused of concealing information related to terrorism, and the first of them also in collecting funds for terrorist needs.

During the special operation, the seventh suspected of participating in a terrorist conspiracy was detained - this is a 20 -year -old young man, but his interrogation has not yet been completed.
