On Monday, the Austrian cell of the Anonymous hacker group published on her Twitter page called Anonaustria , information about names, surnames, birth dates and home addresses of 24938 Austrian police officers .

Hackers do not claim that the information was obtained by a hacker attack on police computers. “Let's just say: we were given access to them (data),” the Anonaustria said in the message.

Recall that in July, the Anonaustria group stole data from 214,000 Austrian viewers and radio listeners from the GIS computer system owned by ORF (the National State Broadcasting Company of Austria). The Anonymous hackers group is known, first of all, last year’s attacks on the sites of “opponents” of the WikiLeaks resource, as well as the subsequent association with the Lulzsec group.
