Electronic displays will begin to warn Muscovites about traffic jams from October 5

Electronic displays that will inform Moscow motorists about road traffic jams will “earn” from October 5. In the near future, on the roads of the capital, the city will appear in six places of the city, and by the end of the year 46 screens should be installed in Moscow, the representative of the capital’s department of transport and development of road transport infrastructure told RIA Novosti .

The format for output of information about traffic jams on the screen will be similar to the entire “Yandex.PROKI” system familiar to the system, reports Auto. Voy.ru. In the near future, the same electronic displays will be installed at six addresses: 55A Nizhny Novgorod street; Volgogradsky Prospekt, 63; Dmitrovskoye Shosse, 11: Bolshaya Polyanka street, 4/10; Kashirskoye Shosse, 1, structure 1; Leningradsky Prospekt, 35. Until the end of this year, 46 information screens will work in the city.

The information board is part of the intellectual transport system (ITS). The main objective of ITS is to optimize traffic flows in the city and reduce traffic jams and congestion.
