"Prosecutor's Office of Moscow" sent a computer virus

On behalf of the Moscow prosecutor's office, an email with a computer virus is distributed. This was reported by the press service of the department.

According to the prosecutor's office, letters from the electronic box of the prosecutor's office [email protected] were sent to various commercial organizations during September 2011. Recipients were invited to familiarize themselves with the decree in the attached file, which when opened uploaded the virus.

The letter was signed by the senior assistant to the capital prosecutor Tarasova L.V. However, the prosecutor’s office assures that employees with this surname do not work for them, and the address from which the newsletter was coming is not used.
