Japan sent nine nine defectors from the DPRK to South Korea

The Japanese authorities sent nine DPRK defectors to Seoul, who previously expressed the intention to move to South Korea for permanent residence.

As ITAR-TASS reports, these people on the coastal guard plane were initially taken out of the city of Nagasaki, where recently they were in the national point of the immigration service and were interrogated. Then, from the international airport of the city of Fukuok, they were sent to Seoul.

The Japanese coastal guard at a signal from local fishermen discovered on September 13 at the NOO Prefecture Prefecture an open wooden boat with a Korean inscription on board. There were three men, three women and three children of primary school age. They had food, but fresh water and fuel for the motor almost ended.

The senior group called himself an employee of the auxiliary unit of the North Korean army. He said that all nine people are relatives, and asked the Japanese authorities to send them to South Korea.

Considering this issue, Tokyo proceeded from the 2007 precedent. Then, four defectors from the DPRK, who were then transported to South Korea, arrived in Japan on a boat.

To date, the number of fled from the DPRK has already exceeded 20 thousand people. Most of them cross the border between the DPRK and China. There were cases when defectors fell into South Korea through Southeast Asia and other countries.

Japan has no diplomatic relations with the DPRK, there is not even a transport message between the two countries.
