The current US administration “with understanding” refers to the protest movement, whose activists have been supporting the “occupation regime” in the Wall Street area in New York on September 17, and on October 6 they are going to “occupy” and the Square of Liberty near the White House in Washington.

“Directory, since people are extremely brought to the economic situation, we understand this,” the press secretary of the US President Jay Carney said about this movement, ITAR-TASS reports.

“That is why we are so persistently trying to focus the attention of the Congress on the need for real affairs in the field of economics and creating jobs,” Karney added.

Initially, the idea of ​​a peaceful and non-violent “occupation” of Wall Street was born as a symbol of indignation of the greed of American bankers, who not so long ago their own country and the whole world into the abyss of the financial and economic crisis, and now arranging a “feast during the plague”.

Mostly young people participate in the protest rally, who, by all formal signs, should relate to the most massive average layer of American society, but in the conditions of the crisis they were thrown out on the side of life.

They are outraged by the demonstrative delegation to the financial oligarchs of multi -billion dollar salaries and bonuses in conditions when millions of ordinary people in the United States cannot find work for years and are essentially devoid of means for normal existence.

By the way, at the height of the crisis, Obama himself warned the "fat cats" with Wall Street that they risk to please "for the pitchfork" of popular anger. Then the White House changed the record and began to boast that funds allocated to support the banking and financial sector are more than returning to the treasury.

Recently, however, the tone of public statements by the US president has become more offensive. And Carney now recalled that Obama "is very proud of measures to protect consumers of" banking services and demands from the Republicans to stop putting sticks in wheels to industry reforms.

Ideological opponents of the current administration are trying to wrap her own thesis against her that the banks with the treasury were paid. This thought sounds in the reports of some American media about the "occupation camp" near Wall Street.

Meanwhile, this argument is apparently insolvent. The ITAR-TASS correspondent reports that he asked one of the Washington international finance specialists about this, and he laughed unhappily in response. “Of course, they paid,” he said. “At first they received a loan from the treasury at an almost zero percentage, and then invested them in government bonds at 3 percent per annum. They returned the debt. But in any case, all this was done at the expense of taxpayers.”

Other observers add that the banks also speculated on the money received, including oil supplies.

According to the self -proclaimed “invaders” and their supporters, these multi -billion dollar funds would be much better to spend on real assistance to people who, in conditions of crisis, often lose not only work, but also their own housing.

Along with socio -economic requirements, the organizers of the new protest movement sometimes put forward political slogans - first of all, about the cessation of wars, which America now wages far from its shores.

On October 7, the 10th anniversary of the start of the war in Afghanistan marks, and this date will also be celebrated on Square Square and in other places, including the new Washington Memorial Martin Luther King.

In this context, everyone, of course, emphasizes that immensely overgrown military spending is one of the reasons for the current economic hardships of America and Americans.

American liberals, including individual acting politicians of the federal level, openly welcome the "occupation" initiative of the masses and see the key to their upcoming political victories in it. They, in particular, are very encouraging that trade unions begin to be blocked with a new movement.

For their part, the conservatives in chorus predict this initiative of an ambulance of inglorious death, first of all, due to the disunity, the lack of common goals and recognized leaders.

But the activists themselves say that their movement cannot be different, since it is inspired by the example of the "Arab spring" of this year and is based on the same organizational principles.
