In Nizhny Novgorod, the bailiffs sealed the morgue with a corpse

In Nizhny Novgorod, the bailiffs suspended for a day the activities of the pathological department and the pathogistological laboratory of the city clinical hospital N7, Interfax reports with reference to the press service of the UFSSP of Russia in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

The report said that during the day the management of the institution is obliged to eliminate violations of sanitary rules and hygienic standards specified in the administrative offense protocol.

"Namely: the morgue building is not equipped with a refrigerator for storing corpses. There are no rooms such as a sanitary unit, shower, a room for dressing corpses, etc. The morgue and laboratory itself are in an unsatisfactory sanitary state, which significantly reduces the effectiveness of the use of detergents and disinfectants during the conduct of generals," reports, - reports. press service.

In addition, there is no reserve source of hot water supply in the room, the rooms are not equipped with a mechanical ventilation system, an old furniture is used with a lost hygiene coating, the press release is noted.

The activity of the hospital’s division was suspended last Thursday by court decision, which was executed by the bailiffs of the Leninsky district department.

As explained by the agency in the press service of the UFSSP in the Nizhny Novgorod region, in the case of non-violations, the issue will be resolved either about the further imposition of a fine, or the extension of the period of suspension of activity.

The head physician of the hospital calls the situation hopeless

In turn, the chief physician of the city clinical hospital N7 Sergey Lebedinsky calls the situation a closed circle. According to him, according to the new sanitary rules, the laboratory and morgue should be in a separate building.

"The laboratory is located on the ground floor of a residential building adjacent to the hospital. Our morgue is located in a separate building, but does not comply with the rules either by area or the number of premises," Lebedinsky explained.

In his opinion, a medical institution was faced with two mutually exclusive prescriptions: it makes no sense to repair the premises when they should be liquidated and transferred to a separate building.

"Can you imagine that I can build a morgue in one night?" - the interlocutor of the agency expressed bewilderment, noting that it takes time to resolve the issue of financing construction, to conclude contracts, the development of the project, its coordination, and the construction itself.

Earlier, according to him, the Office of Rospotrebnadzor ordered to eliminate all violations of the rules before October 1, 2012. "And on what basis was the court decision?" - said Lebedinsky.

The head physician added that in the sealed room of the morgue there is currently a corpse. "We have a clinical surgical hospital. If one of the patients dies, what will I do with him?" - said Lebedinsky.
