The court found Tymoshenko guilty

Ex-Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, when signing gas agreements in 2009 with Russia, caused damage to Naftogaz Ukraine in the amount of 1.5 billion hryvnias (about 190 million dollars). The court found Tymoshenko guilty of excess of official powers, and "the price was incommensurable with agreements reached earlier." The judge has not yet announced the punishment. The state prosecution requires Tymoshenko 7 years in prison. The ex-Prime Minister himself does not consider himself guilty.
