Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry noted the “anti -Russian subtext” in the verdict of the Pechersk court and also called for compliance with previously reached gas agreements.

The Pechersky District Court of Kyiv sentenced Yulia Tymoshenko to seven years in prison for exceeding its authority by signing the contract. Prime Minister of Ukraine Nikolai Azarov has already stated that he was hoping for a compromise solution to the problem of the gas contract in the next 15 days.
