While the battles were going on in Moscow around the inclusion of Roizman in the list of “right -handed”, in Yekaterinburg, one and a half thousand kilometers east of Moscow, its fund worked as usual: over the past month, a dozen brothels have been identified, half a day of drug trafficks have been neutralized, more than two hundred people are in a cure in three rehabilitation centers.

Over the 13 years of the fund’s work in the Sverdlovsk region, the catastrophic situation of the late 90s, when Heroin was openly traded on the street, and the head of the Chkalovsky Upon-right in his office, was replaced by a period of anxious lull, provided by the daily painstaking work of volunteers and enthusiasts. The number of drug addicts and mortality from an overdose in the Sverdlovsk region decreased significantly, more than three thousand drug dealers ceased their destructive activities. “A city without drugs”, which has been at war with drug mafia and its dominant structures, has been growing up, has become stronger and expanded.
