Yulia Tymoshenko, who, despite the verdict, while remaining in the pre -trial detention center , was cold there. In her cell there are large cracks in the window, which is why the temperature is the same as on the street, says People's Deputy of Ukraine Sergey Vlasenko, Interfax reports.
Vlasenko assures that "the conditions of Tymoshenko’s stay in the cell is not the same as they say about this in the penitentiary service." In particular, according to the deputy, this applies to temperature, which is quite low. In this regard, as the deputy noted, over the past few weeks, the convicted person, in addition to other health problems, was a cold twice. Vlasenko recalled that, despite all this, Tymoshenko still does not allow her personal doctors.
In general, in general, the state of health of the ex-Prime Minister, Vlasenko said: "I probably have no moral right to comment on the state of health of Julia Vladimirovna, but believe me, a person who is illegally located 70 days in the pre-trial detention center, of course, cannot be perfectly healthy."
Earlier, the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine assured that the technical and sanitary condition of the camera containing Tymoshenko is satisfactory. In particular, windows and doors are in good condition, and the total heating of the premises of the Kyiv pre -trial detention center is carried out from the central city heating system. As of 18:00 Thursday during control measurement, the air temperature in the chamber contained by Tymoshenko was 23 degrees Celsius.
The penitentiary service added that, as part of the provision of medical care, Tymoshenko repeatedly met with specialists of the Ministry of Health, a personal doctor and health workers of the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine, received appropriate consultations.
On October 11, the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv sentenced Yulia Tymoshenko to 7 years in prison for abuse of powers when signing gas contracts with the Russian Federation in 2009. This sentence has not yet entered into force and will be appealed, so the former prime minister remains in a pre -trial detention center.
