
In the north of Afghanistan, more than 200 military personnel for security assistance (Isaf) were poisoned at a military base in the area of the city of Mazari-Sharif. This is stated in the message of the command of the Armed Forces of Germany.
In total, 206 soldiers who took food in the dining room of the Bundeswehr suffered from poisoning. Of these, 138 are military personnel from Germany, ITAR -TASS reports.
"The incident did not affect the combat readiness of the Isaf group," the FRG Supreme Council of the Armed Forces indicates.
All the circumstances of the incident are clarified, the report said.
