It was clear to everyone that it didn’t happen to us, but here it was, and every day it was updated in intensive mode. Miracles, in a word. Perhaps that is why those people who are responsible for “impossible” also thought for a long time that “salt” was such an obsession. In fact, it was a delightful dream: interesting, beautiful, on time. I think not for me, the transition to the link to the Salt was a daily hygienic operation. - Necrologues are a special genre, there is a darkness of hunters to write them. I do not know how to write (including necrologues), and I do not want to write about “salt” as a deceased project.

“Salt” for many was the most important consequence of the “Perm Cultural Revolution”. For people who have not been in Perm, the source and proof that something unusual was happening on Kama, there were only rare news and Salt portal. Why proof? Because the “salt” demonstrated that in the province a sane look at the country as a whole, at its political and cultural life is possible! With very small costs, its own media with a fairly wide range of interests and a high level is possible. The regions are not stupid consumers of the secondary media of the media, but also the right to say those who have. That outside the metropolitan cities, except for despondency and the eternal htony (the current newspaper Zvezda, for example), there are people who are able to think and analyze that can create an publication saturated in content, sharp, and simply interesting! Ultimately, “Salt” was an indicator that normal people live in Russia whose opinion cannot be criminally ignored! Unfortunately, this was the reason for the closure of "salt".

There is a simple criterion for popularity: the presence of fans and opponents. They were at the “salt” both at the local and federal level. Many opponents of the Salt first tried not to notice her, then with contempt saying like "they heard something, but we do not read." But at some point it became no longer possible to ignore the “salt”! Of course, the online publication of this level that is not allowed before federal advertising can virtually exist, and the “giving hand” always believes that it can “control the process”. We generally have a strange idea of ​​freedom. The resource can be closed, but you can’t change public moods.

I will not write an obituary, I hope that in one form or another, “salt” will be revived. Must be reborn! It's a pity if not in Perm!

- Yesterday I found out that the “salt” was closing. Sadly. It seemed to me that the project was beginning to unwind: the popularity of "salt" among readers was clearly growing. It feels like “salt” was shot down in flight like a woodcock. This event is doubly sad, because we are talking not only about “salt”, but also about the lost opportunity to create an all -Russian level in the province, which could become a link between the capital and Russia. The fact that the “salt” was scattered is an extra argument in favor of the sociocultural difficulty of the two shores of Russian history. The normal dialogue between them is not yet established. We are still talking on different Russian dialects.

I am grateful “salt” for allowing me to write about what and how I want. For this little life in a year long. For the fact that I have something to remember. Thanks to everyone who was in the salt shaker.

It seems that the fate of the project shows that in modern society it is not clear how intellectual-informational and analytical resources can exist. What funds? In general, for intellect and analysis, for creativity and so on, apparently, they will never pay anyone again. Everything died - essays, journalism, literature, absolutely everything died. Now essays, articles, poems and novels will only be written by wealthy people and having free leisure - nothing to do and to “self -explode”. And losers who do not have a billion rubles can go to the railway.

-The Internet newspaper "Salt" on the air appeared shocking and violently. She, like a spark, shot up and went out - alas, the flame did not flare up. Fleased, scared. Everyone was frightened, except for the editorial office. For twenty years, as we have been living allegedly in democratic Russia, but the Soviet syndrome has been holding many. And sorry. It was a new format. And the newspaper was loved not only in Perm, Moscow and St. Petersburg, but also in other cities of Russia and abroad. The closure of the newspaper is reflected on the prestige of our country.

- The life of the writer (out of need, and not for the sake of entertainment) is always sad. Because, working anywhere, it is necessary to correlate with the fact that the publication needed here and now. Well, not so that someone certainly says, you need to compose about that-such horrors went around me. But it’s always clear what exactly should be painted, and the Columnists generally have the meadow, so that no one tramples anyone. You write about animals - so about animals, about Ukraine - so about Ukraine, etc.

And rarely - but it happens - so that you can write anything about anything. That is, not about anything, but exactly about the fact that at the moment (well, this week) I wanted to write. And do not write something that I do not want, although, it seems, it is necessary. Rarely. But it happens. It must be understood that this is not the publication that it will take, anything, but rather-he needs exactly what (and about what) the author wants to write. This is the most correct strategy: exactly what you want to write about, and there is something to write about. Because this is exactly what was really important. Of course, publications that behave like this flourish - in a spiritual, of course, sense. And this is more important than any long existence that practices some non-existent goals.
